I love snow but not crazy about the cold. I take as many photos as I can for reference to paint from in my cozy warm studio. I am fortunate to be able to visit the snow with my family and love to go tubing when possible. One of the places we3 often go usually has a huge bon fire burning and Hot Chocolate available. What fun! I do so enjoy painting snow scenes and they bring back wonderful memories of Snow Days in Tennessee, when schools would close because our school buses could not safely run. Wonderful times I will never forget. I hope this painting will bring back some of your precious memories. Ice in the Shadows is painted in oiks on a 12" x 16" Linen Panel.
