When I reflect on events and memories, either good or bad, there are so many aspects of the day to recollect. Unless there is a reason to remember it, I don't necessarily recall if it rained on that day, or if it was sunny, or scorching hot. But sometimes I may just happen to remember that it rained and wanted to capture that in this painting. This scripture is a positive one about rain. It's Hebrews 6:7: For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God". A light rain and its effect on the colors, feelings and emotions of the scene, the memory of that day, is captured in this painting. A light satin varnish covers the surface and sides of the painting for UV and dust protection. The sides are painted black and this painting is ready to hang!
