Can you see the determination in that baby chick’s eyes and stance? The camera captured her as she was making her way from the far end of the pen to the other. She certainly had a goal in mind. I think she wanted to see what I was up to. I didn’t look familiar, and what was that square black thing that kept snapping? Maybe she thought I was there to feed her.
She didn’t stop coming until she was inches away. Her fearless determination compelled me. Her compatriots were less interested and picked at their feed or slept while she barreled over fearlessly
I just had to capture that determination and bravado in paint.
