This piece is inspired by an 8" x 10" plein air painting I did on-site at Asilomar Beach in Monterey, CA. The golden rocks and light sand was such a beautiful contrast to the aqua tinted water. The constantly moving water is a challenge to paint but I really wanted to capture the magic of the movement.
