Site-specific in Lisbon

This building is located in one of the main location in Lisbon, Avenida Liberdade. At that time, there was has a lot of abandoned buildings in that area. Avenida 211, that one, occupied by artists.
In this project I worked with the idea of an entire building thinking about the front and center facade, the ideas of exterior and interior and its difference of hierarchy design, light and maintenance.

I intent to explore the contrast between the rigidity and mass of architecture and the flexibility and surface of the material and temporary and permanence.

The white imprint of the balcony interact with the city and pedestrians. In a unusual way, the wind activated the four pieces. Seams that the building was wearing a garment.
On the contrary, the inside countyard piece, black windows imprints were quiet.
