Late Bloomer by Liberty Worth Image: I have become more and more interested in the scraps that are left behind after I finish a quilted project. I had a major breakthrough in 2024 when I began to separate my scraps into color bins - suddenly the fabric scraps began to look to me like paint - I could use them in ways that felt more like abstract painting. As I have played more and more in this new technique, I have challenged myself - "Can I travel from this color to that color, using only the pieces of scraps that I have on hand?" They also can be installed straight or crinkled.
