"When you open up your mind and heart you can see the truths of the world." The center phrase on the latitude line of the map sums up how we as a world can be a kinder and understanding society. This work is a series of quotes from a conversation of an Iraqi war veteran and Iraqi refugee displaced from the war in his home land. The conversation is about how each approached and survived the atrocities of the war and how the true issue is that society judges people not only by the color of their skin but by the passport they hold verse the heart and intent of the person holding it.
