"Still waters run deep” – this was the thought that mainly preoccupied me while pouring this picture.
I have often heard this metaphor related to describing people’s character traits.
Deep Blue Shades tells (in lower voice) the story of my fascination with the unknowable secrets of deep waters.
I find the difference between what one can perceive as the end of the world during a sea storm on the surface of the water and the cool silence of the depths of the water's undersurface at the same time particularly exciting and unsettling.
Although I will hopefully never experience the sea on a ship during a storm, I sometimes wonder how it would be to experience such weather from under the water surface.
And even if I find the ability of the sea to be stormy on the surface while still underwater to be spellbinding, even more intriguing I find our ability to do the exact contrary – the most ravaging of our inner storms will remain unnoticed by an unknown observer, since our outward appearance will deceive through an apparent calmness, unless we wish to reveal them.
DE:
