In "Time to Bloom," I wanted to push the scale and energy of my pastel work to match a new chapter in my life. I painted this as a demonstration piece right as I was transitioning into my new career as a full-time artist and workshop instructor. The bouquet is full of movement and light, reflecting that sense of excitement and the "blooming" of this fresh start.
