Painting Paradise, a painting I made during my summer art classes, partially as demonstration purposes, but then as I added the magnolia flowers form my friend's trees, I felt like it became more iconic and demonstrated my class intention of abstracting botanicals. Many layers of paint later, the flowers brought it to life. This also became the image for my parents Christmas greeting card in 2024.
