"Entwined in the Line" – from the Channeling Nadis series – is a visual meditation on the fractal nature of water’s movement through landscapes and energy’s flow through the human body. Inspired by the small rivers formed by rain on the hills around my property, this painting captures the fluid, ever-changing pathways that emerge as water and pigment interact with the canvas. The layered currents of turquoise, silver, and deep mineral tones mirror the way sediment moves in a river, tracing ephemeral topographies that echo both natural waterways and the intricate networks of nadis—energy channels within the body.

The canvas itself serves as an imprint of the land, a record of water’s passage and the shifting interplay of form and flow. As the medium dries, new channels emerge, intertwining and diverging in an organic rhythm, much like the body's own circulatory and energetic systems. The movement captured within the painting is a dialogue between the tangible and the ethereal, between the physical world and the unseen currents of life force.

During the creation of this piece, I channeled poetry and wisdom, allowing the process to be guided by an intuitive connection to the forces at play. The title of the work stems from these transmissions, honoring the unseen threads that weave through both nature and the human experience.
