Witnessing the low clouds falling into the canyons at Big Bend National Park while waiting for the sun to make its presence known is an experience I'll always remember. In this painting, abstract, angular shapes and scrapes in heightened colors contrast with the softness and ethereal quality of the clouds--and capture the essence of this place.
