This single artwork, made of the skin of an invasive Dragonfin fish, helps protect up to 150 types of fish and endangered species native to the Mississippi River. It also helps protect the $500 billion economy and livelihoods of over 1.5 million people who depend on the Mississippi River.
It is currently on loan to a Smithsonian affiliate museum in Solomons, MD.
