As an emerging artist in an extremely niche art form I am trying to break the mold of what people assume glass art can look like. My most recent work highlights my experiences as an Asian fem, and subverts the perceived value of glass and femininity with the use of rare and precious glass colors. The soft yet bold figures in the Daruma Series strikes a cord with my audience.
