Queen Rose Art House Residency in conjunction with Tulsa Arts Fellowship Program

Kym Cooper, multidisciplinary artist, will start a fully funded three week residency in Tulsa, Oklahoma as an artist-in-residence with mentor and gifted artist, Kalip Linsky working on a two handmade vintage quilts that center on the Tulsa Massacre that occurred in May 1921. Her artwork and final exhibition will honor the injured and dead Afro-Americans who owned, had homes and businesses that were never rebuilt during those two horrific days and the lifelong ramifications generations later.
