This is a striking assemblage / mixed-media panel work composed of vertical wooden slats arranged side by side, each treated differently, creating a unified yet varied composition — almost like a visual symphony of found objects and paint.
Structure & Support
The base is made of reclaimed or repurposed wood planks of varying widths, showing nail holes, knots, and natural aging. The raw materiality of the wood is embraced rather than hidden.

Far left — Bold abstract painting in deep purple, navy, and pink with swirling marks
Dark wood panel — Largely unpainted, showcasing raw wood grain with two significant found objects attached: a pocket watch movement (exposed gears) and a brass belt buckle, plus a colorful Kente-style woven ribbon/strap hanging down and a hex bolt at the base
Red/pink painted slats — Vivid spray and brush-painted panels in neon red, magenta, and yellow-green, with gestural marks and what appears to be handwritten text
