My work is rooted in maternal heritage, the legacy of craft, and the magic of nostalgia. My strongest childhood memories are of hours spent with my mom, wandering through library aisles to bring home stacks of books–our treasures of shared curiosity and wonder. Even earlier memories, just as dear, are of playing beneath a canopy created by a quilt suspended on wooden frames while my grandmother and her sisters gossiped and embroidered the final details of these handmade family heirlooms.
My work is a tribute to my foremothers—those who nurtured creativity and connection through craft and storytelling. My mobiles serve as a contemporary reflection on the importance of shared experiences, sustainable practices, and honoring the layered histories we carry within ourselves.
