This is the kind of painting that makes you want to order a Tiki cocktail upon entering the Thunderbird Motel after stepping out of your Thunderbird Vintage car. The original hotel is in Elko Nevada and I used a little artistic interpretation to add palm trees behind it. I put the car in this painting from one that I saw and took a picture of at the 2025 Boerne Hot Rod car show. This painting is part of my Route 66 collection and will be featured in the Little Big Art Show in Boerne, Texas which coincides with the Hill Country Mile Rod Run October 11, 2025 from 10 am - 5 pm.
