A flock of Laughing Gulls takes a break at the beach on a sunny concrete seawall.. Some have their summer / breeding plumage with a solid black head, but most are presenting their winter / nonbreeding plumage with a black beak. The breakwater shows its age, with pits, rusty streaks, and a broken surface.
