This work is the second in the series of Mountain Shore paintings. The tryptic depicts a cool ocean seen with gold highlights evoking an ethereal light passing over. The color palette is deep blues, vibrant aquas, and soft sandy tones to evoke the ocean tranquility and depth. Ocean is both freedom and the unknown.
The experimental layering of the paint creates a texture that mimics ocean waves, foam, and ripples.
