This piece is larger and consists only of solid-colour paper (some with a bit of paint added). It is also the first of this series done on stretched canvas, rather than the thin but strong birch plywood. Slightly different glues are used to allow for movement of the cloth.
In this work, the patterns and the bright colours have become very important. It suggests a landscape with a waterbody in the lower, closer part of the image and sky above, without delineating the extent of either. The title suggests that the grass shapes along the lower edge could be underwater as seagrasses or grasses in a meadow. Again, the slight mixing and ambiguity of the piece is intended to refer to the linkages and similarities among habitats and their inhabitants.
