"These current works are ideas that have been brewing in my head for a while. They are a journey through past memories beginning with childhood and continuing through adulthood. These memories include listening to story time as a child and seeing the wonderful drawing in The Lorax. They also include my teenage years in stage crew and being effected by my first production of Little Shop of Horrors. Some of these sculptures are inspired by the process of nature in plants.

My love for colour stems from my Mexican Culture and the runny glazes are based in my love for the ceramic process.

All Plant Monster Vessels are handbuilt using a variety of clay bodies, firing temperatures and different glaze applications."
