Mass is about materials that are unseen that once came from natural resources but shelter us from our environment. Synthetic building materials, such as insulation, foam insulation, and drywall are rarely considered part of our modern-living utilization. Hazardous in their makeup, I question how these materials can be looked at in a new context, as artifacts, natural phenomena, and materials that are part of a futuristic landscape.
