accepted into the “Betsy Meyer Memorial Exhibition 20th Anniversary Retrospective” show at the mainline art center. whoever showed in a “Betsy Meyer” exhibit over the past 20 years was asked to apply for the retrospective.i was accepted to the “Landscape Revisited” show in 2006, which came at such a pivotal time in my art career. i had two young boys at the time (both under the age of three), and was struggling to figure out if it was feasible to invest in an art career and a family simultaneously. the Betsy Meyer show was a primary contributor in revealing the possibility of doing both and definitely an encouragement.
