My Father Returns Home by Kimberly Altman Image: I painted this a couple of weeks after my father passed away, at 98 1/2 years old. When I started the painting, I really didn’t have a theme in mind. The painting took on a mind of its own, turning into beautiful, colorful clouds that I would hope that my father passed through on his way to his final resting place.
