This oyster series was inspired by my mom, aka "Nana" who had a great affinity for the beach which she passed down to me. She would take all 4 of us kids (only 2 1/2 years apart - a set of twins kept us close in age) to Third Beach in Middletown RI as babies! She was an amazing (off handed) artist, interior designer & dinner party hostess. I use her brushes, gold shell bowl and tray on a daily basis!
