The shimmering blues and greens of a bright spring afternoon inspired me to create this piece. The mountain landscape is so variable depending on the time of day. The colors are often so vibrant that they seem to be painted on the landscape itself. While the colors in this piece may seem surreal, my intention is to invite the viewer into an exploration of what is possible when we allow room for the imagination.
