This piece was done in one sitting, lakeside as part of a plein air festival. I loved painting plein air at Hudson Gardens! It was such a beautiful way to spend a morning, by the pond, immersed in painting. I challenged myself to finish a piece in one session, which was a great learning experience. It was also my first time at Hudson Gardens, a beautiful hidden gem in Littleton.
