This piece is simply an interpretation expressing my passion for floral design and floral materials used as a medium to create art. Creating arrangements from living cut flowers to give to people on special occasions, in the event of a death or simply just as an everyday reminder that you are loved and appreciated by someone is what keeps this industry alive and thriving. I just wanted to interpret in this piece the nature and beauty of floral design that has literally been around for centuries. Flowers may wilt and die, but I want them to live on in life, the main reason I am passionate about painting them.
