Anomic aphasia is a mild, fluent form of aphasia characterized by persistent difficulty finding words, particularly nouns and verbs. Individuals know what they want to say but experience “tip-of-the-tongue” moments, resulting in vague speech, circumlocution (talking around a word), and high frustration.
