The Fisherman

I originally wanted to create this piece around the vintage fisherman statue my friend brought me from the thrift store. As I was planning the arrangement, I recalled a glass candle holder that I had removed from another piece and thought - wow - that would make a perfect fishbowl - and the goldfish was from a Brighton necklace I had given my daughter many years ago. I filled the fishbowl epoxy, then added some clear, flat beads to create the illusion of bubbles. This was so fun to make - and really started to stretch my imagination into more creative directions.
