This piece was created to look like an intricate stained glass work of art. It is created from a photograph that I took at the Hutchinson zoo on an outing with my grandchildren. I 'shattered' the basic elements of the piece and painted in each 'shard' with acrylic paint. I also used chalk and oil pastels on top of the paint. The grid lines were done with stabilo pencil, then reinforced with a black Posca Paint pen.
It is created on 300lb. coldpress watercolor paper and is ready for framing.
- Framed: 24 x 20 in (60.96 x 50.8 cm)
