This piece was done in black and white palette knife, quickly done while my mother was resting after the funeral of her third brother in as many years. I turned it to the wall in my studio so that she could not see it. A few months later the call for entries to The Charles and Emma Frye Museum in Seattle came for The Puget Sound Annual Show and this piece was selected and received an Honorable Mention. It is probably not a work to hang in a living room, it does stand the test of time however.
