Painted “Alla Prima” (though the one sitting took 5 hours!) on location during the Southern Oregon Plein Air event. That’s a long time to work one painting while on location but not exceptional. I’m sure many others do that but I usually prefer to finish in the studio and spend less time with a piece on location. I caught on with this one though, the day was perfect in all ways and I’m really pleased with the outcome.
