This watercolor on paper is among the pieces I currently have hanging in the show at Art Presence Gallery in Jacksonville, OR. The gallery is in the remodeled, small building next to the original Jackson County court house that many years was the Children’s Museum. Artist Anne Brooke and a group of dynamic members have created a vibrant non-profit that has a regular exhibitions showing a range of work of area artists and craftsmen. in January the group received a grant to remodel the upstairs, add water and electricity to accommodate several small studio spaces and a classroom. They hold talks by authors with newly published books, and painting and drawing classes. the Gallery is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 11-5pm.
