Rocky Creek is a state park along the Oregon coast. There are a small number of whales that live there year round and we see them each summer as we stand on the cliffs looking out over their feeding ground. The first time I painted in the area I paid to go out whale watching; now I love being able to look up from my easel and watch them surfacing over and over again through out the day.
