The setting sun cast a warm glow as the last rays pick up the golden shades in rocks and grasses highlighting the triangular shapes of land forms and water. The evening light brings out the colors and emphasizes shapes as it casts shadows across the landscape. The fatigue of the days work prevents over thinking and I settle in to just paint often producing my favorite piece from the day.
