This piece is from a series exploring the ubiquity of plastics in our natural world. This mixed-media collage begins and ends with the process of monotype printmaking. The piece is first composed with hand-pulled monotype prints. After a drizzle of paint, a final ghost print is printed directly onto the collage. The work is mounted on a cradled wood panel and framed in a white Ampersand floater frame.
