Monarch butterflies travel thousands of miles every year to migrate to Mexico. Scientists are just now discovering the quiet miracle of this journey. They migrate to the Oyamel forest high in the mountains, which is often called a cloud forest. It is a singular place that has the conditions for their survival through the winter.
