Looking for Wisdom in the Cold Night Sky

Each stroke pleads with the universe for the elusive wisdom that bridges the gap of belonging. So many times, my paintings, come from how I am feeling at that moment or what I am struggling to let go of in my life, that no longer serves me to be able to move forward. In the case of this piece I was feeling particularly unheard and disrespected by others and I needed a way to break out of thinking about it constantly. This painting and its companion piece came from these feelings. Creating the pieces has allowed me to move forward to better things.
