I met Laga on the south coast of Jamaica. You're not really supposed to eat reef fish because of a particular kind of food poisoning they can cause. I didn't know this at the time, and we were unaffected. These were, however, some of the tastiest fish I've ever eaten. Whether it was the reef or Laga's cooking, I can't say for sure.
