Commissioned by Lavreotik Art Project.
The subject of this work is my relationship to the landscape of Lavreotiki. My materials are my body, my acrylic and oil paints and oil sticks, and the slug that is found in the area since antiquity, a leftover from the mining operations of the area. The scroll painting is made using the slug and my body as painting tools. I make imprints of my body and of the slug on the paper, layer over layer. An encounter of my body, my painting materials and the landscape.
