This painting is a harmonious blend of soft color punctuated with bright accents. The forms are organic and fluid with each shape outlined with delicate lines suggesting connectivity and movement. There is a sense of balance and rhythm throughout giving a soothing quality. The name comes from a memory I had of the first time I saw through the windows in Paris, the beautiful pastry shops. I had never seen such beautifully displayed baked goods and the memory stuck with me. Nowadays, it is common to see such creatively baked goods, but back then, I had never seen such a delectable sight.
