I use paper to try out colour palettes and compositions as a warm up before moving on to a canvas, these often turn into little works of art in themselves. I also love the different quality that results from working on paper. This one was the initial colour palette for a larger work called The Lookout but it kind of looks like colours poking through the fog to me.
