The goddess of storms, Tempestas, has the power of the environment at her disposal. She can bring quiet skies or the clouds, rain, wind and lightening. In this case, the landscape blurs as she sweeps in a storm. This goddess is drawn and her environment is my own photograph on tissue with paint, layered over candy wrappers, providing sparkle, evoking our culture of sweets and gifts but also highlighting the trash in our natural areas. She is painted into the storm with her own ethereal fish accompanying her as they fly in over candy wrapper lines of power.
