The goddess of storms, Tempestas, has the power of the environment at her disposal. She can bring quiet skies or the clouds, rain, wind and lightening. In this case, the landscape blurs as she sweeps in with her storm.
This goddess is drawn and her environment is based on my own photography on tissue, layered over candy wrappers, creating the base of the image and providing shine and sparkle, but also highlighting the trash in our natural areas. The image in the photograph was tiled on nine sheets so covers the whole image which I painted to add depth and to emphasize the goddess. She also has added lines power in more bits of candy wrappers.
