I visited this field of wild Cosmos behind a supermarket in Matsuyama, Japan. The wild natural beauty, behind the urban environment was so unexpected, it took my breath away. A testament to the beauty and power of nature.

This work in particular really plays back and forth with distance and flatness in the picture plane. A formal quality I love to play with in my work.
