This beautiful scene is of the Hampstead waterways over by Wilmington NC. I was fortunate to be able to stay at a friends house that looked out over this waterway.
I paint each of my pieces primarily using a palette knife. This painting is acrylic on canvas. I personally stretch each of my canvases by hand. It is a gallery wrapped canvas with the 1 1/2″ deep edges painting dark. The wire hanger at the back makes the piece easy to hang, and it hangs flush with the wall. No framing is necessary.
