this began with a woodcut print from one of the 100 boxes from my Die Kunstkammer assemblage sculpture. In this process of pulling prints from sculpture, I think of it as an alchemical transformation 3D to 2D.

I let these prints sit in storage for a long time then eventually go back to them and add color and mark-making using drawing and painting techniques and materials
