Quarantine Blessings Collection: Acrylic on Paper (2020-2021)
The early days of quarantining for the COVID Pandemic were often lonely and isolating. These moments caused me to become more inward-thinking; therefore, I focused on creating this body of work. I often felt that my Art was my lifeline.
Red Line Portraits
Red is one of my favorite colors for emphasis and expression of the enthusiastic movements of my characters in these paintings, making them vibrate with excitement.
South Africa Collection (2022)
This rare collection of 3 are inspired and painted in South Africa.
During my last visit, I felt the need to capture the excitement and atmosphere of the Dark Continent during my last visit. It was amazing!
Spring Fever
The colorful paintings in this collection were created in brilliant Spring colors and in fever of creativity!
Turquoise Study
This collection was painted in variations of turquoise with lines and words, and were created with a sense of playfulness and tongue-in-cheek comments.
Under the Bed Collection: Acrylic on Paper (2006-2008)
During this time period, I was able to create paintings, also from models, which I had stored under my bed in my tiny home.
Under the Bed Collection: Nude Study
During the mid 2000s, I enjoyed participating in Nude Drawing and Painting classes in Santa Monica, California with fellow artists, where we were able to create in our own style from the poses of men and women before us on their stage.
