Thailand holds numerous treats for the senses, as well as delightful surprises from every possible point of view. However, nothing can even comPARE with the carefully-designed and mystical faces of the Buddhas found in the nooks and crannies of daily life--or in giant natural caves, resplendent with emeralds and sapphires, with beautiful floral tributes!
My process for “Twitcher” was to grab a 4 ft by 5 ft piece of raw canvas and roll it it out on my outdoor porch.
Then, I opened a couple of cans of latex paint, poured some of each onto the blank cloth, spreading it randomly out in strange patterns with my gloved hands.
Eventually, a pattern of birds and a figure wearing binoculars emerged and there it was!
